Do Good Adventure Road Trip

United States MapDo Good Adventure founder Russell Lyons hit the road September, 2011, till March 2012 on a cross continental U.S. road trip that promotes and supports teen volunteerism.

He spent three to five days visiting each of approximately twenty teen-friendly non-profit organizations in different communities. Organizations selected for the tour stops address a wide range of domestic community needs including homelessness, literacy and environmental stewardship.

Russell met with teens that are helping their communities and worked
beside them at the organizations they support. He also met with organizational staff in an effort to identify successful teen outreach strategies. Thanks to his fiscal sponsor, the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego, and donors including the Leichtag Family Foundation, Russell was able to have a financial impact on every organization he visited.
